Position: Credentialing Specialist – Independent Contractor
Location: Remote | Open to U.S. & International Contractors

Minimum Assignment: 3 contracts per project

MVPros is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to support our growing network of behavioral health clients. This is a remote, project-based independent contractor opportunity that is open without borders, including qualified international professionals who have direct experience with U.S. healthcare credentialing.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and experienced in managing credentialing applications from initial submission through approval and effective date.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with:

• North Carolina NCTracks provider enrollment, recredentialing, affiliations, and change requests
• North Carolina Medicaid Managed Care and behavioral health MCO credentialing
• Provider enrollment, contracting, roster submissions, and payer follow-up
• CAQH ProView maintenance and reattestation
• NPPES/NPI verification and updates
• Commercial insurance credentialing and contracting
• Credentialing portals such as Availity and payer-specific systems
• Individual and group provider credentialing
• Tracking applications, outstanding documentation, effective dates, and contract status
• Communicating professionally with payer representatives and provider relations departments

Experience credentialing behavioral health providers—including LCSWs, LCMHCs, psychologists, physicians, nurse practitioners, and behavioral health organizations—is strongly preferred.
